Problem
Fugro approached us to provide a pontoon with spud legs that would be suitable for drilling work in Dover harbour.
Solution
We provided a 16×6.4m Geotechnical pontoon with spud legs and welfare for the team onboard. We built an access panel into the pontoon through which the drill could access the sea bed. The spud legs allowed the pontoon to be held in position while drilling was in progress but similarly allowing it to then be relocated easily.
