Working for GPS MACS we mobilised 50 metres of pontoon with a central boarded gutter to hold a 200mm concrete pipe that ran from the shore out to a Red7Marine Jack-up barge on the Thames. This was made up from six 8m x 2.4m ScaffFloats.
We mobilised at Greenwich Yacht Club and towed the pontoons down the river using our 8×6.4m ScaffFloat with twin high thrust 60hp outboards.
We worked with the Port of London Authority to ensure all of the ScaffFloats were licensed to operate within the Thames.
