PROBLEM
Attridge Scaffolding, working in partnership with Balfour Beatty, needed to gain access to the underside of an iron rail bridge for repair works. The busy waterway needed to remain open so a suspended scaffold or full-width pontoon was not an option.
SOLUTION
We provided a very stable 8.0 x 4.0m ScaffFloat, with 60hp high thrust outboard, safety pack and skipper. A system scaffold tower was installed on deck and adjusted during the job to give access at different heights. The work included cutting, grinding and painting.
