Problem
GPS MACS, our long-standing marine civils partner, was contracted by CMDP JV on behalf of Southern Water to carry out a dive survey at Bewl Water, Kent. They required a pontoon to support their operations.
Solution
We mobilised an 8×6.4m self-propelled pontoon with a single high- thrust 60hp outboard. The pontoon’s substantial payload capacity accommodated a welfare unit installed by GPS MACS. For diver safety, we included a water level shelf and a dedicated divers’ ladder to allow easy access in and out of the water.
