Problem
PMA Scaffolding Ltd needed access for one of their clients to carry out an inspection and repairs on the remote and tidal Frog Firle Bridge, Alfriston.
Solution
There was no propulsion or skipper needed, and PMA Scaffolding Ltd were able to use their own scaffolding, so we shipped the floats along with a comprehensive set of instructions to construct a 6 x 4 meter pontoon, and PMA scaffolding ltd did the rest.
A good example of “build-your-own” floating access. As part of their hire package we sent out general arrangement drawings, one page build guide, side & top view plans and pontoon spec sheet along with bill of materials and lifting guide. A safety board was also included in the pack to ensure all the safe working guidelines were visibly documented to everyone working on the project.
