One of the advantages of ScaffFloat is the wide range of options we have to get them afloat, here are some examples:
- Crane – Being relatively light, we don’t need a big crane or hiab lorry to launch ScaffFloat. To lift we choke strops around the beams according to a lift plan we provide.
- Plant – We have launched our pontoons with excavators, telehandlers and tractors. We can often utilise local plant to drag or lift them into the after.
- Slipway – We often mob on a slipway, all our pontoons can be built in under a day if needed. Once assembled we can either simply slide them into the water by hand, or with a push from a vehicle. Or we have launch wheels we can fit to roll them into the water. We can also build on a tide, so the pontoon floats up as the tide comes in.
We provide a full set of RAMS for all our mob and de-mobs.
