PROBLEM
— An oil tanker went over a cliff and onto a beach in Cornwall. The oil clean up was on an exposed beach with breaking surf and the client needed a pontoon to float in plant and equipment.
SOLUTION
— We provided an 8m x 4m ScaffFloat with full handrails and stabilty assessment for the equipment on deck.
— This was all done at 48 hours notice.
— An outboard pod and safety pack were added later, turning it into a workboat capable of 5 knots.
— All necessary licences were put in place.
