PROBLEM
– AR Demolition had been contracted to remove a utility bridge across the river Tame.
– Their scaffolding contractor, Midlands Scaffolding Services, was tasked with scaffolding under the bridge and asked us to provide an access solution from the water to enable them to do so efficiently and safely.
SOLUTION
– We provided a 6m x 3m non propelled pontoon which worked well for Midlands Scaffolding. We were soon asked for a second pontoon so they could do the job faster.
– Both pontoons are operated by the client and are moved and positioned with ropes.
