Our cranes integrate directly into the structure of the pontoon allowing for lightweight, strong and stable lifting operations and avoid manual handling of heavy loads.
The 450mm system can take up a 2.8tm crane which can lift 465kg at 5m. Our larger 750mm system can take up to a 7tm crane which can lift 465kg at 10m.
Our small manual davits are a perfect addition for lifting and lowering smaller loads of equipment or people off the side of the ScaffFloat. Perfect for assisting divers.
ScaffFloat can provide flexible and dynamic hoisted access. They provide a perfect platform for the inspection of the underside of bridges and piers, which can be moved with ease to various locations, if needed. This removes the need to construct expensive and time-consuming fixed scaffolds.
This has been used on the following projects : Suspended Pile Access, Africa, and Suspended Platform, Barmouth Viaduct
Our ScaffFloat modular floats can easily be customised in order to allow them to be ballasted to lift and lower loads from sea level downwards.
This has been used on two significant projects thus far: Boat Dry Dock and the ARC Marine Subsea Mattress installation.
